Avlesh an out-an-out tech guy, holding Mineral Engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology. He has started his career as Principal Engineer and Search Architect at Burrp, became the first hire at Burrp (India's Yelp in 2006) and built the technology backbone for burrp!

Also worked at Infomedia18 Ltd. and designed the search stack and enhanced Solr to implement search/suggest related features on Burrp and Askme. In the year 2011, he has founded his first venture, WebEngage, a marketing cloud for consumer businesses, trusted by thousands of companies worldwide.
